Wow, what a wild week for Kate Winslet. Then again, when isn’t it a wild week for Kate Winslet? She’s married to a man named Ned Rocknroll after all. In any event, in the past few days, Mrs. Rocknroll revealed that she never wanted to be Mrs. DiCaprio. She clarified that she and her Titanic costar never had feelings for each other. She does, however, like her Titanic director James Cameron enough to reunite with him for those long-awaited Avatar sequels (even with that Papyrus font). It’s not clear if she’ll appear in all four, or what characters she’ll play, but it should be interesting. Of course, before all of that, Winslet might have an Oscars to attend. The trailer for her latest film, Wonder Wheel, debuted on Wednesday, and she’s already getting awards buzz. She calls it one of the most complicated roles she’s ever played. If that doesn’t encourage you to watch the trailer here, then at least check it out for numerous shots of costar Justin Timberlake in some of those old-timey one-piece swimsuits.

Donald Trump’s Awkward Dating Attempts

Brooke Shields is just the latest celebrity to recount the time that Donald Trump once awkwardly tried to ask her out on a date. The star dropped by Watch What Happens Live earlier this week and revealed that in the late ‘90s, Trump once called her up and said, “I really think we should date because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man and the people would love it.” Shields responded by pointing out that she had a boyfriend at the time. Shields is far from the only celebrity to recount Trump’s awkward attempts to date them (we’ve assembled a complete list here. Not that anyone should be surprised by these tales. After all, in that infamous tape, we all remember Trump’s awkward attempts to try to sleep with Access Hollywood cohost Nancy O’Dell despite the fact that she was married.

Two doyennes of the art world. Two different takes toward public relations. While Marina Abramović would like you to taste her, Yayoi Kusama just wants you to get out...depending on who you are. Abramović, the famed Serbian performance artist, has collaborated with Ladurée, the famed Parisian bakery, to create a “pastry portrait.” It’s essentially a gold and blue macaron that is supposed to taste like her memories and identity. “Because you consume it, you eat it and it’s gone,” she said in a statement. “What is left behind is the memory of what you eat.” The food will be available at Harrods in London before going on a “tour” of other destinations across the world. Meanwhile, Kusama greeted a Vice reporter in her new Japanese museum, answered some brief questions, and then had the journalist banned because his questions were “low-quality.” It left the journalist wondering if the artist had a problem with some part of his behavior or identity. He’ll never know for sure, considering he’s now banned from ever being in the same room with the artist again.
