Even when Drake was embarrassingly eager to be public about whatever it is those two had, Ri was basically “Bro, be chill.” So when pictures emerged this week of the singer making out with a mystery man in Spain, the internet damn near broke. The internet then promptly fixed itself and managed to identify her new paramour: Saudi billionaire scion Hassan Jameel (his family owns the country’s main Toyota distributor). The internet also found the Jameel was once pictured with Naomi Campbell, which led to speculation about her alleged feud with Rihanna (Campbell maintained months ago she has no beef with Ri, despite the fact they’ve unfollowed each other on Instagram). Whatever the case, Rihanna’s latest dating rumors illustrate a trend of pop stars keeping their personal lives way, way on the down low. Taylor Swift secretly dated Joe Alwyn for months before the world found out. Zendaya recently admitted that she has an ex she dated for four years that no one knew about. While Katy Perry is currently single (as far as we know) she clearly regrets going naked paddleboarding with a boyfriend. | | | | | | | Forever 21 is no stranger to getting sued. Ripping off other designers, both indie and high-end, and then settling lawsuits seems to be part of their business plan at this point. Gucci meanwhile is used to filing suit and being ripped off. Yes, everyone lately seems to be borrowing creative director Alessandro Michele’s penchant for pasting little animals and bugs all over his garments, but Gucci is much more protective over its heritage symbols: namely its logo, monograph and trademarked striping (the red and the green stripes, you know the one). Well, Forever 21 has been using that striping lately in their own clothes, so Gucci has sent a handful cease-and-desist letters over the past year asking the store to stop or face a lawsuit. Rather than ceasing and desisting however, the $12 dress mall mega-store actually sued Gucci. Yes, they want a court to declare that they didn’t ripoff Gucci (even though, you know, anyone with eyes would beg otherwise) and, in an even more surprising development, wants Gucci’s trademark claims to said striping declared invalid. | | | | Lindsay Lohan and Emma Stone? | Mean Girls 2, Let's Be Real | Lindsay Lohan recently debuted a new website where devotees can discover her life secrets for $2.99 a month, but she’s still serving up dish on Twitter for free. Of course, in another time frame, it’s not hard to imagine the possibility where Lohan went on to have the kind of career Emma Stone has. They’re both raspy voiced redheads who had their breakthroughs in classic teen movies, after all. This certainly wouldn’t be the first observation that Stone was Hollywood’s attempt at a Lohan reboot. Yet, Lohan holds no ill-will. She recently tweeted at Stone in fact with an intriguing proposition. “Emma stone.. can we film a movie called ‘Mean girls 2’ together?” Well, who wouldn’t want to see that? Indeed, Lohan is tweeting out all sorts of invites to other stars lately. “@britneyspears @parishilton come to #mykonos for my birthday this weekend @Beyonce you too,” she wrote in another tweet. Somehow we doubt Beyoncé is going to leave her newborn twins and hop on a jet plane, but how nice for Lohan that she’s spending her 31st in Mykonos? | | | | | | | | | | | The Victoria’s Secret model and fiancé Jason Statham introduced their first child to the world on Instagram. “Our little man arrived! Jack Oscar Statham - 8.8lbs on Saturday June 24th,” she wrote. | | | | | | | | Lily Rabe, 35 (Bewitching Actress) Colin Jost, 35 (Che Sidekick) Nicole Scherzinger, 39 (Aspiring Solo Star) Roberts Evans, 87 (He Stayed in the Picture) | | | | | | |
