Like, all the time. In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Gigi declares she’s not in the market for new friends, much less keep up with the ones she has now. “I’ve lost a lot of friends because I’ll get busy for a short period of time, and they’re not reaching out, but if I don’t reach out, then it’s like I’ve changed,” she told the mag. (Don’t worry, she still has time for Taylor Swift, who e-mailed Bazaar to say, “Gigi’s #1 rule is to treat people the way she’d want to be treated, so she’s on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response.”) Meanwhile, Bella tells Compelo that even if her Instagram is a never-ending spree of bikini pics, she’s not actually on the beach, or a boat, that much. “It’s crazy because it looks like I have a lot of down time and a lot of vacations. Especially when people look at my pictures online. But the thing is that I don’t post every day when I’m working but I will post old pictures from previous trips and things which makes it look like I’m on vacation a lot of the time, when actually I’m at work.” | | | | Rompers for Men, Apparently | | | | If you don’t happen to be a man who uses Facebook, find one who does and ask him what kind of sartorial advertising has been dominating his feed over the past year or so, and his reply will probably include something about goofy frat boy attire. It’s the kind of clothing a little boy might wear, and the aggressively juvenile advertising seems to be working out to the point that it’s now a trend. There’s one company that boasts its shorts are perfect for “going commando,” and another that sells brightly colored swim trunks and short shorts ideal for a kegger or tailgating. Yesterday, the internet got wind of another fledgling product line that is all the way in on the questionable trend: the “RompHim.” Yes, a romper for men. Of course, male “onsies” have been kind of a thing in high fashion and streetwear for a minute in the form of the boiler suit, but the line, which has already met its fundraising goal on Kickstarter, hopes to make it a trend at college campuses and bachelor party weekends, as well. Would-be wearers are apparently already psyched, but the rest of Internet is not as enthused. “Nothing screams ‘Never had sex’ like the new RompHim™!” joked one Twitter user. “When your masculinity is so fragile you call it a ‘RompHim’ to negotiate your internal sexist beliefs that anything feminine is inferior,” was another, far more intense take. | | | | Remember when Hollywood looked to cash in by adapting literary sensation The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo into a tentpole franchise? They brought on A-list director David Fincher, proven leading man Daniel Craig and helped turn Rooney Mara into a household name by handing her the plum role of Lisbeth Salander? Yeah, well, despite great reviews and a worldwide take of $232 million, it didn’t quite make enough money to warrant a sequel. So, Hollywood is just rebooting it. Yes, already. The Crown star Clarie Foy is in very early talks to take on the role of Salander, and horror director Fede Alvarez is already onboard as director. The first film of the reboot won’t be a like-for-like remake of the 2011 version, but rather an adaptation of spin-off book The Girl in the Spider's Web. | | | | | | | | | | | Want to know where your favorite celebrities are getting all their patched denim items? It’s more likely than not the work of LA-based label Phlemuns. Designer James Flemons tells W that one of this big breaks came when Solange Knowles starting commenting on his Instagram pics. | | | | | | | | Ivy George, 10 (Already the Star of Big Little Lies and Twin Peaks) Behati Prinsloo, 28 (Maroon 5 Bride) Megan Fox, 31 (Frederick's of Hollywood Co-Owner) Janet Jackson, 51 (That’s Miss Jackson if You’re Nasty) Pierce Brosnan, 64 (James Bond Hero, Mrs. Doubtfire Villain) | | | | | | |
