As the entire world knows by now, Kylie Jenner won Super Bowl Sunday by announcing that she had given birth to a healthy baby girl, thus ending months of speculation as to whether or not she was actually even pregnant. Of course, her months-long hiatus from the public eye may have accidentally trained her devoted fans to become eagle-eyed detectives (or crazed conspiracy theorists, depending on how you look at it), searching for clues about the Lip Kit mogul. That habit hasn’t stopped now that Jenner is once again active on social media, except her fans keep getting it wrong. People swore that they had figured out that her daughter’s name was Butterfly. Wrong. Turns out it’s Stormi. Then people jumped to the conclusion that another social media–savvy model named Stormi Bree had intentionally shaded Jenner and her seven-day-old baby by posting a picture of her pouty face on Instagram. Wrong again, and Bree quickly had to do damage control, explaining that there was no ill will meant (Bree, of course, is too busy raising her own much-discussed infant to create drama with others). There are also now tons of bizarre theories about why Jenner chose the name in the first place, but we’re going to go out on a limb and guess that most, if not all, of them are wildly wrong. Calm down everyone. Post-birth Jenner may not immediately be as active on social media as she used to be, but she’s no longer hiding. We’re sure if there’s anything she wants us to know, she’ll tell us directly instead of dropping weird clues about it. In any event, hey, turns out the first photo she posted on Instagram of Stormi became the most-liked photo ever on the platform.

When New York Fashion Week: Men's was first staged, in 2015, there were high hopes. Organizers hoped it could compete with the European weeks devoted solely to clothing for the fellas. Considering that sales of menswear continue to grow at a faster rate than those of womenswear, it wasn’t necessarily a bad aim. Though, maybe aiming for a full week was stretching. This year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) compacted its men's programming to three days, wrapping up just in time for the start of the regular week. That’s not to say there weren’t some highlights. Tom Ford showed menswear (see all the pics here), and he used the occasion to debut his first foray into the men’s underwear market (apparently Ford thinks men should be wearing shiny silk boxers under his impeccably tailored suits). Raf Simons, of course, continues to be a highlight of both NYFW and menswear in general. There was also a whole lot of great street style to be seen. Apparently, the man beret is very, very in.

Fifty Shades Freed is actually this weekend’s biggest movie release, but you wouldn’t know it from the media. Everyone is a bit too busy talking about the big release for the weekend after, Black Panther. The Marvel film is already breaking sales records on Fandango, is currently Marvel’s best-reviewed film of all time on Rotten Tomatoes, and is expected to possibly be one of the studio’s top-five openings and to maybe overtake Deadpool as the biggest February opening ever. Heck, there’s even talk it could win Marvel its first Oscar ever (of course, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. The awards for last year’s films haven’t even been handed out yet). People are even hyped about SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s “All the Stars” video, the first clip for a song from the album’s soundtrack. It seems everything around this movie is just sparkling gold. Still, we have Fifty Shades Freed to consider before that, and the early reviews aren’t great. Then again, the entire franchise hasn’t exactly been a critical fave. “Seriously, is this the best we can offer adults who don't want to watch Marvel movies?” The Hollywood Reporter’s review quipped. Apparently, it is.
