The racy ads Gucci put out during Tom Ford’s tenure are still the stuff of titillating legend. Karl Lagerfeld once employed porn stars and strippers to model Fendi. Of course, Hood By Air’s last runway show was sponsored by PornHub. However, fashion brands have tended to draw the line at, you know, actual sex. Well, not so for beloved easy-but-artsy New York label Eckhaus Latta. Their latest advertising campaign includes images of real life couples, of varying gender combinations, photographed in flagrante delicto. Of course, all the below-the-belt bits are strategically pixelated, but the end result is still quite, well, shocking. In any event, fashion has now completely crossed that barrier. We imagine Tom Ford approves. | | | | Kanye West has been building up hype for his much anticipated Calabasas, California-inspired collaboration with Adidas. Though, there was no real public confirmation from either about what exactly to expect nor when it would drop until the middle of the day Tuesday when word got around it would dropping on a website, YeezySupply.com, at some point. When the collection finally debuted (indeed it was riffs on Adidas classics with the word “Calabasas”—the home of the Kardashian clan— affixed to several items) most of it sold out in about five minutes flat. Of course, if you want to keep yourself in the streetwear you can’t sleep on those product drops. Unless you don’t mind paying a giant markup for the items on eBay, where many of the Calabasas items have already popped up. | | | | Sure, Chris Pratt may have emerged as the major movie star out of the cast Parks and Recreation, but the rest of the NBC sitcom’s alumni are pretty much dominating television right now. Adam Scott (and his beard) are busy calming down Reese Witherspoon on Big Little Lies. Aubrey Plaza has become a major part of Legion, despite technically dying in the first episode. Aziz Ansari and Rashida Jones are preparing new seasons of the shows they star in, Masters of None and Angie Tribeca, respectively. Now, Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are planning TV returns...together. They’ll co-host an unscripted competition series about crafts-makers and artisans. Think sort of like The Great British Bakeoff...except American, and with wood, as Ron Swanson would prefer. | | | | | | | | | | | The top model (and Leo’s ex) announced her second pregnancy with husband Adi Ezra on Instagram, captioning the snapshot, “somethings cooking…” | | | | | | | | Lucy Lawless, 49 (Amazon) Elle Macpherson, 53 (Glamazon) Haider Ackermann, 46 (Tilda’s BFF) Amy Sedaris, 56 (Crafts Enthusiast) | | | | | | | |
