When Real Housewives franchises need extra drama, they love to drag up someone from a cast member’s past to create conflict. The Real Housewives of the White House is no different. Ivana Trump, President Donald Trump’s first wife, is promoting her new memoir (she is a Trump, after all), and she joked in a Good Morning America interview that, “I'm basically first Trump wife, OK? I'm first lady, OK?" Well, the actual first lady had her communications director issue a swift and stern rebuke, calling Ivana’s joke, “attention-seeking and self-serving noise.” Even Andy Cohen was left speechless. President Trump is only the second man to be elected president with a divorce under his belt. Ronald Reagan was the other, but his first wife, Oscar-winning actress Jane Wyman, made it a point not to speak publically about her ex.

Did you know that the guy who directed Mean Girls (Mark Waters) is the brother of the guy who wrote Heathers (Daniel Waters)? True story. (Although, in case you’re wondering, no, they are not related to John Waters.) Well, now the brothers are teaming up for a new TV series. It won’t be set in high school, but it will take on a world that is thematically similar: that of social media fashion influencers. E! has picked up their pilot #FashionVictim, about an Instagram trendsetter who apparently kills people (naturally, it’s based on an original story by fashion magazine vet Amina Akhtar). While E! is better known for its Kardashian-like unscripted fare, the network is pushing into scripted fare. It has its soapy The Royals, which stars Elizabeth Hurley (and, occasionally, her 15-year-old son, Damian), and Hollywood thriller The Arrangement. So a fashion-inspired show fits in perfectly with the slate. Of course, given the Waters brothers’s pedigree, expectations are high.

Somehow Angelina Jolie, U.S. citizen, could win the Oscar for best foreign film‑so at this point, we’d really believe she’s capable of anything. In fact, the International Criminal Court once thought she could help bring one of the world’s most notorious criminals to justice. Yes, according to documents obtained by French investigative journal Mediapart and shared with the London Sunday Times, the ICC’s chief prosecutor once got Jolie onboard to be part of a plot to capture Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony. Apparently the prosecutor thought Jolie could coax Kony out of hiding with the promise of a meeting. Jolie was, at least for a while, totally on board. Eventually the plot fizzled out for reasons that weren’t included in leaked e-mails. Kony remains at large.
