Opening Up in GQ, à la Brad Pitt

Accidentally Opening Up Via the Twitter Like Button, à la Melania Trump

Brad Pitt, our highest of Hollywood gods, has been going through a rough time lately in case you haven’t heard, and finally opening up up about his divorce from Angelina Jolie in a lengthy interview with GQ Style. The star is beyond frank about his situation, painting himself as a newly 53-year-old single father of six just trying to figure things out with therapy, self reflection and his new found interest in sculpting. He’s also open about his newfound soberness. “I'm really, really happy to be done with all of that,” he said. “I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know—things I wasn't dealing with. I was boozing too much.” He’s at least said more about his marriage than the First Lady, who may have accidentally sent the internet into a tizzy Wednesday morning when her since abandoned personal Twitter account liked a tweet making light of the perceived iciness some have projected onto her marriage. The tweet was since unliked, and the White House had no comment. They did clarify, however, that the First Lady does not wear fur (something that is in line, more or less, with every First Lady since Nancy Reagan). So, there’s that.

The Next Generation of Mosses (as in Kate Moss)

“The Next Kate Moss” who isn’t related to Kate Moss

The fashion world is always on the lookout for “the next Kate Moss,” but maybe the next Moss is related to the original. Kate’s younger half-sister Lottie has already made moves in the modeling industry, and now Kate’s own teenage daughter, Lila Moss Hack, is following suit. She’s signed to her mother’s new agency, and made her campaign debut alongside her BFF Stella Jones (daughter of Mick Jones) in a new ad for British hair braiding chain The Braid Bar. Of course, modeling isn’t the only profession in young Moss Hack’s blood. Her father is Dazed co-founder Jefferson Hack, and she’s already dabbled in fashion journalism by interviewing none other than Gigi Hadid for her father’s magazine last year.

All-Star Female Team-Ups on Broadway

Spotlight Hogs

It seems there’s something of a trend of female stars doubling up to really make a splash on the Great White Way lately. Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole did with War Paint and both got Tony noms for their efforts. Ditto for Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon, who are actually trading roles every other night for Little Foxes. So much for the idea at the center of everything from All About Eve to Smash that there’s only room for one leading lady under a stage’s spotlight. Like Nicole and Reece on Big Little Lies, theater seems to be finding that the more female star power the better. The next celeb-duo joining forces on Broadway: Lili Taylor and Janeane Garofalo. Yes, the two ladies who you might expect to be in the running to star in a live-action update on where MTV’s Daria, will be starring in the Broadway debut of Marvin’s Room this summer (yes, the play that was already turned into the 1997 movie with Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton, who we wouldn’t mind teaming up again on Broadway some day, come to think of it).

13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman isn’t afraid of making fashion statements in his personal or public life, as he did in a recent photoshoot for W. “I was just like, 'Holy s---,” he told us of his response to the Selena Gomez-produced Netflix show’s success. “I don't think anyone was prepared. I don't think you can be prepared for that.”
